Online Counseling in Colorado
Let’s TalkI am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and provide counseling by secure video to people who are physically located in Colorado at the time of their session. You do not need to travel to Texas, and you do not need to live near a particular Colorado city to get started.
The first phone call is free. It is a chance to describe what is bringing you in, ask practical questions about online counseling, and decide whether the work feels like a good fit before booking anything.
Online counseling across Colorado
Video sessions can be useful when the right counselor is not close by, when work and family make travel difficult, or when you would rather begin from a familiar private space. Sessions are available to adults and couples located anywhere in Colorado, subject to the usual requirements for a private setting and a reliable connection.
You can join from a phone, tablet, or computer. The platform is encrypted and intended for healthcare, and there is nothing complicated to install.
Licensed to work with people in Colorado
Counseling across state lines is governed by where the client is physically located, not by where the counselor happens to be sitting. I hold a Colorado Licensed Professional Counselor license, so you can meet with me by video while you are in Colorado.
You can verify the license through the Colorado Division of Professions and Occupations. The license number is LPC.0024698.

What people come in for
People begin counseling for many reasons: anxiety, depression, addiction and recovery, relationship problems, grief, anger, personality patterns, and the stretches where a life changes shape and you are not sure who you are in it.
I practise Gestalt therapy. That means paying attention to what is happening now, as it happens, rather than spending the hour analysing your history from a safe distance. You do not need a diagnosis or a finished explanation before you call.
Where you need to be for a session
You need to be physically located in Colorado at the time of the session. If you are travelling outside Colorado, that week's appointment usually needs to wait or be rescheduled. Tell me your plans and we will work around them.
Online counseling is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, call or text 988, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
Fees and the first call
Sessions are self-pay. I am no longer taking on new clients who want to use insurance, and there is no superbill for out-of-network reimbursement. The fees page explains the current rates and why insurance is not part of the arrangement.
The first phone call is free and carries no obligation to book a session at the end of it.
Common questions
Can I see you online if I live in Texas, Colorado, or Missouri?
Yes. I hold LPC licenses in Texas, Colorado, and Missouri and offer secure video sessions for adults and couples physically located in one of those states at the time of the session. If you will be elsewhere, tell me before the appointment so we can discuss whether it needs to be rescheduled.
What do I need for an online counseling session?
A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, a reliable internet connection, and a private place where you can speak without being overheard. Headphones can help. We can discuss whether video or the office is the better fit during the first call.
Do you accept insurance or provide a superbill?
New clients are self-pay. I am not taking on new clients who want to use insurance, and I do not provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement. Existing clients using insurance are unaffected by this policy for new clients.
